What is Facebook Business Manager?
By all means, the Facebook Business Manager was launched to help companies manage and organize their Facebook Pages and advertising accounts. In that case, without being tied only to an individual personal account.
To enumerate, the Facebook Business Manager is a free tool developed by Facebook. Allowing businesses and agencies to securely manage their company pages, ad accounts, catalogs and pixels in one place. Particularly, without sharing login information or being connected to their coworkers on Facebook.
So, whether you oversee one or many Facebook pages, Facebook Business Manager puts everything you need in one central place.
Why Use Facebook Business Manager?
Simply, because the reason to use the Business Manager is to keep you focused on your work. And as can be seen, a Facebook Business Manager is a tool that helps organize and manage your business.
When you join Business Manager, colleagues or Partners can’t view your personal Facebook profile unless you connect as friends. Colleagues or Partners can only see your name, work email address and the Pages and ad accounts you have access to or provided them access to.
An organized Work station
Basically, when you log in to Business Manager, you’re taken directly to your business assets on Facebook.
From there, you can access your pages, Ads Manager, Power Editor, and other business-related assets. Without seeing your personal news feed or notifications.
Everything is more Secure
The second-best reason to use the Facebook Business Manager is to keep everything organized and secure.
If you manage more than one Facebook Page, ad account or other assets for yourself or your clients, there’s a lot of back and forth. Especially, to get from one asset to the next. More importantly, it’s difficult to oversee everything you and others are able to access.
Put everything under One Roof
In addition, the Facebook Business Manager allows you to quickly see all of your pages, ad accounts, the people who have assigned roles and much more.
After all, this is especially handy when you need to revoke access to several of your business’s Facebook assets for someone who no longer works for you. Instead of having to go to all of your business assets to remove that person. In this case, you simply go to the People section in Business Manager and remove their access to everything in one click.
Assign different Roles
Speaking of people, with Business Manager you don’t have to be friends with people you assign roles to for your pages, ad accounts, and so on.
You simply use the Business Manager to assign roles. They never have to see your personal profile and you don’t have to see theirs.
Here are the top 10 more benefits;
- Manage multiple pages and ad accounts from one Business Manager.
- Securely share and control access to their ad accounts, Pages and other assets on Facebook.
- Easily add or remove employees and agencies to your account.
- Grant different permission levels based on business objectives.
- Access valuable pixel data
- Quickly build custom audiences for your advertising efforts.
- Access the Catalog and build product sets with ease.
- Business level reporting for multiple accounts.
- FB Support will refer to a business manager when troubleshooting issues.
- Manage billing details and see spend thresholds.
Now that you know why you should use the Business Manager, here are the things you can do with it.
How do I Setup a Facebook Business Manager?
Eventually, you’ll need a personal profile to create a Facebook Business Manager account.
Whereby, you use a Facebook username and password to sign in to the Business Manager. In fact, it’s a more secure way to log in than with just an email address and password.
So, to get started;
- Go to business.facebook.com (make sure you have a personal Facebook profile)
- Click “Create Account”
- Select your Page and enter your details. If you don’t have a Page yet, keep reading – I’ll show you how to create one.
Facebook has made it easier for you to manage multiple Pages without having to switch between different profiles.
The major benefit of adding Pages to your Business Manager is so you can have everything you work on in one place. Another advantage is seeing who has access and what permissions they have for the company’s Facebook Page(s).
Again, you can assign Pages to people by picking through a couple of options that best fit that person’s job duties. And for your information, you can see the complete creation guide!
How do I create a Facebook Page?
Simply put, you can create a Facebook Page for businesses, brands, organizations, and public figures to share their stories and connect with people.
And like profiles, Pages can be customized with stories, events and more. Furthermore, people who like or follow your particular Facebook Page can get updates in the News Feed.
To Create a Facebook Page, you need to;
- Go to facebook.com/pages/create.
- Click to choose a Page type.
- Fill out the required information.
- Click Continue and follow the on-screen instructions.
Note: Anyone can create a Page, but only official representatives can create a Page for an organization, business, brand or public figure.
Can I merge a Facebook Page?
Of course, Yes! If you have 2 Facebook Pages for the same thing, you may be able to merge them if:
- You are an admin of both Pages.
- Your Pages have similar names and represent the same thing.
- The two Pages have the same address or even if they have the same physical location.
But, before you request a Facebook Page merge, please make sure that any campaigns you’re running aren’t pointing to the Page that will be deleted.
To merge your Facebook Pages:
- Go to facebook.com/pages/merge.
- Select 2 Pages you want to merge and click Continue.
- Click Request Merge.
However, if you’re unable to merge your Pages, it means that your Pages aren’t eligible to be merged. And if you see the option to request to merge your Pages, Facebook will momentarily review your request.
If your Pages can be merged, the people who like your Pages and any check-ins will be combined, but posts, photos, reviews, ratings, and the username will be deleted from the Page you merge.
Only the Page you want to keep will remain unchanged. Except for the addition of people who like the Page and check-ins that were merged from the other Page. In the end, the Page you don’t want to keep will be removed from Facebook, and you won’t be able to unmerge it.
Note: If your Pages are on Business Manager, you can go to business.facebook.com/pages/merge to merge them.
In reality, online digital marketing can become impersonal, due to the virtual nature of the message and content delivery to the desired audience. In that case, marketers must attend to their strategy for online marketing with a strong understanding of their customer’s needs and preferences.
Eventually, techniques like surveys, user testing, and in-person conversations can be used for this purpose. Whereby, Online Marketing is undergoing crowd siege and is highly competitive.
Although the opportunities to provide goods and services in both local and far-reaching markets are empowering, the competition can be significant. Whereas, companies investing in Facebook Promotion Campaign may find visitors’ attention difficult to capture.
