By all means, there is a big reason to smile for computer masters with the New Dell XPS 13 introduction. For one thing, I’ve tested and reviewed well over 400 laptops over the years, searching for the best of the best. So, when it comes to picking the best laptop overall for 2020, there was a clear winner.
Whereby, the New XPS 13 Laptop by Dell takes the lead. Especially, with a fantastic performance, a display with modern-looking thin bezels, a well-built keyboard/touchpad, and a great battery life.
Meaning that the New Dell XPS 13 performs well in every important aspect of a laptop. But, if you’re looking for the best MacBook, Chromebook, gaming laptops, or 2-in-1 laptops, I’ve made a good choice selection for these as well.
Here are the best laptops categories at a glance:
- The Best Laptop in 2020 Cat. is the Dell XPS 13

Why Should You Buy Dell XPS 13?
Simply, because at first glance, it’s portable, fast, attractive, and reasonably priced. And as a matter of fact, no laptop in the past few years has been more influential than the XPS 13.
For sure, it started this race to thin bezels back in 2015. Eventually, which has now spread to every gadget that has a screen. Not forgetting, in its latest iteration, Dell’s taken things even further.
Whereas, the 2020 XPS 13 has made the screen larger using a 16:10 aspect ratio. All while shrinking the bottom bezel. In the end, the result is a larger screen without needing a larger overall laptop.
Additionally, this year’s XPS 13 also gets a larger keyboard and touchpad, making use of every possible surface of the device. And of course, it’s just as powerful and long-lasting as before, not sacrificing function over form.
Although it’s no longer a cheap laptop, as far as I’m concerned, the XPS has earned its spot as a premium brand. Adding up to what is undoubtedly the best laptop you can buy. For more details about this laptop features and more, please check on the following links;

My Personal Take,
In general, it’s now obvious that when you’re on top of the world, you’ve every reason to play it safe. And in reality, that’s where Dell has been for the past few years with its XPS laptops.
Its bezels were trendsetting when they first launched. And with each iteration, Dell inched the design toward perfection. But,
- Where is the innovation?
- Where’s the pioneering spirit that led to the radical design of that initial XPS 13?
- Where’s the risk-taking?
In that case, Dell has seeded its most important changes into its 2-in-1 devices, which don’t carry the burden of being a flagship device.
